Looking to go shopping? The Outlet Center is directly across the street from our entrance. If you are looking for low prices on great products, you'll have to take some time and visit.
Looking for a place to eat? There are many fast food and restaurant locations for your convenience. Just come into the office and we'll gladly give you the directions.
Need emergency medical care? Casa Grande Regional Medical Center is within a few minutes from our campground.
Golf Anyone? Campground Buena Tierra features a desert golf course and driving range and there are more than seven golf courses, all within a very short driving distance from our campground:
If you need directions to your Church of choice or bank, or any other place, please ask us. We also have local & regional (Phoenix & Tucson) telephone books that you are welcome to use.
There is so much to do:
- Skydive Arizona - World's largest skydiving facility that has hosted four National Championships and three World Championships. With six jump aircrafts, you can be coached by some of the greatest champion skydivers.
- High but Dry Balloons - Hot air balloon rides. Located in Eloy at the airport, only a few minutes away.
- Casa Grande Art Museum - Open during Winter
- Casa Grande Valley Historical Society Museum - Open during Winter
- Casa Grande Ruins - Located in Coolidge, just a short drive from Casa Grande.
- Biosphere 2 - Only an hour driving time. Tours year round.
- Meteor Crater - Located on I-40, between Flagstaff and Winslow, make sure you stop here if you're heading that way. Also, don't miss the Petrified Forest. It's worth the drive!
- Pinal County Fair Grounds - County Fair, Rodeos, Car Shows and much more for you to enjoy!
- Picacho Peak is within minutes! The Civil War was fought at this location and enactment is performed each February! This beautiful peak is perfect for camera bugs, historians and hikers.
- MEXICO ANYONE? On your way to Rocky Point, take a break and stay with us! Once you leave here, you can easily gain access to I-10 and then immediately exit onto I-8, which will take you on the direct route.
- HEADING TO THE PHOENIX OR TUCSON AREA? We are north of Tucson and south of the metropolitan Phoenix area, nearly right in the middle, about 45 minutes to Phoenix and approximately one hour to Tucson.
Casa Grande is a friendly town with approximately 40,000 people. There are many restaurants for your eating pleasure and community activities to enjoy.
Remember, Campground Buena Tierra is conveniently located at the I-10, I-8 and HWY 84 junction, in the foothills of the Casa Grande Mountain Range.
